Good Morning lovelies! How is your morning going today? I absolutely love a “good” morning, what do I mean by this? For me, it all comes down to getting sh!t done, being super productive, and enjoying some peace and quiet. I’m a big fan of setting my alarm extra early on my days off, to make sure I can get plenty done around the house before starting my day. I don’t know about you, but I love tackling my to-do list bright and early, so I can spend the rest of my day however I please. I can’t even explain how much I hate not setting an alarm, only to spend the entire day running errands. Time to me, is so precious, especially when it’s time spent with your spouse, or family/friends. Today I’m dishing out 30 Morning Habits to Transform Your Life, keep reading to discover how to simplify your life!

30 Morning Habits to Transform Your Life

  1. Start each morning with a glass of water, then coffee.
  2. Reserve quite time before you begin your day.
  3. Eat a healthy breakfast.
  4. Limit screen time, and wake up slowly.
  5. Write down 5 things you’re grateful for, and 5 things you must accomplish.
  6. Tidy your bed, before you leave your bedroom.
  7. Light an uplifting candle.
  8. Open the windows, and blinds to let the day in.
  9. Listen to uplifting music.
  10. Allow yourself ample time in the AM before rushing off to work, errands, ect.
  11. Create an intentional list of what you want to accomplish in your day.
  12. Put on something you love, and take care of your skin, teeth, and body.
  13. Workout first thing in the morning to get your endorphins pumping.
  14. Chat with your spouse, friend, or family.
  15. Take a few minutes to tidy up your home before leaving.
  16. Journal before getting ready for the day.
  17. Breathe deeply, and slowly.
  18. Find a daily mantra and repeat it to yourself in the mirror.
  19. Go to bed early, and wake up early.
  20. Give yourself a schedule, and allow “free time” in the morning
  21. Give thanks, for another day.
  22. Practice “visualization” of how you want your day/future to go.
  23. Never hit snooze
  24. Stretch
  25. Practice self care
  26. Preset your coffee maker (this has been life changing for me!)
  27. Leave your house on time.
  28. Listen to a podcast.
  29. Read a book.
  30. Practice yoga, or guided meditation

 

 

I love easy, quick ways to simplify my days, so I can spend my time doing what I love, faster. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I need to sleep in, and just “rest” wake up slowly with the hubs, and spend my day on the couch. We all need “those” days. Where I love days like that, for me, I need to be productive to feel like I accomplished something. There’s just something about a productive morning that sets the tone for an even better day.
