Want to hear something crazy…? Dustin and I have only gone a traditional “dinner date” a handful of times. Yep, we reserve those times for special occasion. Honestly? I would prefer an experience, over something that will last ten minutes. Sure, I’d love a big juicy steak, and a $8 cocktail, but…every single weekend? Who has the time, and money for that?? We rarely do “dates” we do day trips. We rarely get dressed up for each other and go out to restaurants that set us back $75+ each week and indulge in all things frivolous. We fail to plan “date nights” because we’d rather go on adventures together. I’d much rather spend in workout clothes, makeup free, doing something active with my husband than anything else.
