There’s no doubt 2020 has been a year full of ups and downs. Between the global pandemic, and just trying to keep all of our heads above water, it’s normal to feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. While we’re truly all in this together, it can feel like a very lonely time, especially if you’re home or unemployed. For me personally, this entire year has been a world wind of ups and downs, and I’ve been reaching for all the things I love most to de-stress and re-center myself: reading, writing, exercise, and drinking lots of calming tea (and making yummy lattes at home) Even so, I personally have been feeling overwhelmed by it all. And I imagine you my friend, have too. Today, I want to share my best self care ideas for when you’re overwhelmed, stressed, or just not feeling like yourself. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by it all, I hope you find the time to slow down, and reflect. I hope you pick a few ideas from this list and take the time to do something nice for yourself.
I hope that whatever you’re currently facing, you will fight your way through. That you will allow yourself grace in the hard times. It is so important to check in with ourselves when facing hard ships, and make sure we are taking the best care or mind/body/soul.
